Vector Database

A vector database is a specialized type of database designed to store and manage vector embeddings. It allows for efficient indexing, searching, and querying of high-dimensional vectors, making it ideal for tasks such as similarity search, recommendation systems, and machine learning applications. These databases are optimized for retrieving data based on proximity in the vector space rather than traditional relational operations. Popular vector databases include Pinecone, Weaviate, and FAISS.
